UF Homecoming Festival: Free Family-Friendly Fun

UF Homecoming & Gator Growl allows family and friends to come together as a community for fun and celebration. The Homecoming Festival is one of the many events that encompasses this sense of community.

The Homecoming Festival follows the Parade and Gator Gallop as students, alumni and the Gainesville community continue a day full of Gator pride. The event, which began in 2015, is a new tradition that takes place in Plaza of the Americas. This heart of the UF campus allows for the perfect setting to celebrate the Gator Nation.

At the family-friendly carnival, attendees can play in bounce houses, enjoy food from vendors, listen to live music and interact with student organizations. Past sponsors who have provided fun goodies to attendees have included GEICO, KIND Snacks, OrangeTheory Fitness, Hyppo Gourmet Ice Pops, Cheerwine, and Earth Fare.

The UF Homecoming Festival takes place Oct. 4, 2019. The event is free and open to the public. For more information, contact Brianna Adan at festival@ufhomecoming.org
