Leadership Pageant 2020

UF Homecoming and Gator Growl not only signifies the celebration of our university’s rich history and traditions, but also our bright future, and a significant role in that future is played by some of our school’s brightest campus leaders.

The Homecoming Leadership pageant is one of UF’s longest standing traditions. This platform gives students the opportunity to represent the 50,000 plus students and hundreds of thousands of countless alumni who make up the Gator Nation.

This year’s pageant is centered around the theme “Be The Light.” Now more than ever, student leaders have a pertinent responsibility of leading by example and creating atmospheres centered around the positive sides of our current semester and a culture of care on our campus.

Like always, the UF Homecoming Leadership Pageant will consist of a game-day spirit portion, interview session, special guest presentations and more. In order to ensure that this tradition and recognition of talented and spirited Gators can continue this year, these segments were pre recorded at the Phillips Center with all participants following social distancing guidelines. The show will be streamed virtually on October 12 from 7 to 9 p.m. so that all Gators can watch to see who their 2020 Homecoming Court will be. The court will consist of six students and two winners: king and queen.

We are so excited for this opportunity to celebrate members of our Gator community who have used the current circumstances as an opportunity to be a source of light on campus. We hope you will tune in and join us! For more information, contact Katie Berlin at pageant@ufhomecoming.org
