Happy Gator Gameday! Glad to see the Gators pull off another SEC win in the Swamp over newcomers Missouri and end their SEC play 7-1.

We’re also only SIX DAYS from Gator Growl! Today, we’re going to spotlight six special individuals who make up our homecoming court. Don’t forget the Homecoming King and Queen will be named at Gator Growl! We’ll be ditching the rankings today – these 6 wonderful individuals have made it to the Top 3 candidates for King and Queen, respectively, so we’ll let them breathe a little easy before the big moment at Gator Growl!

King Candidates

  • Charlie Cope

    Charlie, a past president of the UF Interfraternity Council, was sponsored by his fraternity Phi Delta Theta. He is a member of Florida Blue Key.
  • Matthew Davidson

    Matthew, a past Black Student Union Homecoming Duke, was sponsored by the Florida Cicerones.
  • Steven Gallo

    Steven recently won the Hearst Award for his work in broadcasting with WUFT. He was sponsored by his fraternity, Kappa Phi Epsilon.

Queen Candidates

  • Cecelia Hardwick

    Cecelia, a past Gator Growl Tickets Director in 2010, was sponsored by her sorority, Alpha Delta Pi. She is a member of Florida Blue Key.
  • Stephanie Etzig

    Stephanie, a peer mentor within the Warrington College of Business Administration, was sponsored by her sorority, Delta Gamma.
  • Auriel Rolle-Polk

    Auriel, the co-vice chair of council of the Freshman Leadership Council, was sponsored by her sorority, Alpha Kappa Alpha.
