Mike Shapiro is the Producer of Gator Growl 2010 "Celebration of the Gator Nation". Mike is originally from Wayside, New Jersey. He graduated the University of Florida in the spring of 2010 with a degree in Finance and is continuing his education by seeking a Masters in International Business. This will be Mike's fourth year involved in Gator Growl. He began as a Staff Member for University Sales in 2006 where he worked his way up to assistant director in 2007. He then served as the Director of Community Sales in 2009 before becoming this year’s producer. Outside of Growl Mike has served as the Vice-President of his Fraternity, Beta Theta Pi, as a Vice-Chair in ACCENT, and is a Co-Founder of the Gator Student Investment Fund. His hobbies include anything involving sports and living the college life. He plans on going into the financial field after graduation from graduate school.
