Mark your calendars for October 14, because University Ave will shut down temporarily for the 93rd annual homecoming parade (We apologize in advance for any traffic issues you may experience). The Homecoming Parade is observed by over 100,000 people and is broadcast throughout North and Central Florida. This year, the parade festivities will begin at noon on Friday, October 14th. Each year, hundreds of organizations, both on campus and throughout Florida, apply to participate in this event. The parade will feature over 150 floats, and it will stretch down University Avenue. This allows spectators of all ages to enjoy the parade from a variety of locations.
