2019 GATOR GROWL ARTISTS LINEUP
Chase Rice is a Florida-born country artist currently climbing the charts with his latest hit “Lonely If You Are.” Part of the team that wrote Florida Georgia line’s Diamond-certified smash “Cruise,” Rice’s own 2014 debut album “Ignite the Night” had several popular singles, including the Platinum-certified hits “Ready Set Roll” and “Gonna Wanna Tonight.” The album hit No. 1 on the country charts and reached the top five of the all-genre Billboard 200.
In 2018, Rice released the genre-bending album “Lambs & Lions,” featuring his two-week chart-topper “Eyes on You.” The title track “Lions” is the perfect way to hype up the Gators to take on Auburn for the Homecoming football game.
“I wanted to write something you would listen to in the locker room before you go out and crush it on the football field,” Rice said. “It means even more to me now because I had to weather a lot of storms, fight for my career—and see how much it motivates me.”
Country group LANCO’s Platinum hit single “Greatest Love Story” is a multi-week chart topper, and their debut album “Hallelujah Nights” made history as LANCO became the first country group in a decade to appear at the top of the Billboard country albums chart with a debut album. Lanco has garnered nominations from the Country Music Association, iHeartRadio, Country Music Television and the American Music Awards.
Brown is most famous for the global hit “The Git Up.” Originally shared via SoundCloud, along with a social video of Blanco performing the dance on TikTok, the viral track quickly claimed the top spot in charts and spawned more than three billion views across social platforms with users eagerly sharing their own videos of the dance using #TheGitUpChallenge.
Brown blurs the lines between country and hip-hop music to create a distinct sound that he proudly calls “TrailerTrap.” His debut EP, Blanco Brown, showcases the full range of the artist, as he is the project’s songwriter, producer, vocalist and multi-instrumentalist.
