University Avenue to Main Street in Downtown

October 6th, 2017

Each year, University Ave shuts down temporarily for the annual homecoming parade. (We apologize in advance for any traffic issues you may experience). The Homecoming Parade is observed by over 100,000 people and is broadcast throughout North and Central Florida. Each year, hundreds of organizations, both on campus and throughout Florida, apply to participate in this event. The parade will feature over 150 floats, and it will stretch down University Avenue. This allows spectators of all ages to enjoy the parade from a variety of locations. For more information regarding this spectacular Gator Growl and Homecoming tradition, contact Kyle Rakovitch at Parade@ufhomecoming.org.
