UF Homecoming and Gator Growl would not be possible without the countless students on staff that dedicate energy, effort and emotion into promoting and executing the best Homecoming week possible. This week, we would like to highlight two directors whose work has not gone unnoticed.
Our first staff spotlight this week is Daniel Bencivenga, one of our Co-Directors of Philanthropy. Bencivenga is political science and psychology student from Boca Raton, Florida.
“Daniel has reached out to Gainesville franchises, like Chipotle, D’Lites, and MOD Pizza to organize fundraising events,” said the Associate General Chairman of Community Events, Audrey Carver. “Thanks to Daniel, we can engage all of Gainesville in HCGG’s efforts to give back to the community in which we have made our home!”
Our next staff spotlight is given to our Director of Special Events, Carson Black. Black is business administration student who is also receiving a minor in real estate. He is from Tampa, Florida.
“Carson has done an amazing job in planning our upcoming Gator Growl Summer Retreat and ongoing summer bonding activities in Gainesville,” said the Associate Producer of Finance, Madison Hutt. “He always ensures everyone is having a good time both in and outside of Gator Growl!”
Thank you to both directors for serving the entire HCGG staff and the Gator Nation!
