A Letter from the AD’s

While we were apart for the summer, our public relations teams worked tirelessly to make sure the Gator Growl team and the Gator Nation were still connected. Through blogs like this and daily posts across social media platforms, our directors and assistant directors thought strategically and creatively to encourage, entertain, and unify Gators across the world.

None of this would have been possible without the leadership and organization of the Directors of Public Relations, Maddie Wells and Stephanie Stone. This week, their Assistant Directors wanted to use this platform to show their appreciation.

“Maddie helped to reignite my passion and excitement for Growl. She is constantly challenging boundaries and never settles for average. Even with the limits and uncertainties associated with this season, pushes our blog team to go beyond what is expected and use our platform for the greater good. She is a bold leader and thoughtful friend, and yet another reason I am so thankful to be a part of this family and its legacy.” said Jewelia Bradley.

“Maddie has been a great Director because of her leadership style and compassion. She gives us all the opportunity to give feedback and to take charge of our assignments, giving us the ability to have a fair amount to contribute. She always makes sure we all feel appreciated, which is especially important given the difficulty of writing press releases in the midst of a pandemic,” Audrey Weigel said.

“Steph has been the best to work with! She always makes me feel involved in the process, and it has been great having her to bounce ideas around. From coming up with creative Spotify playlists to brainstorming TikTok ideas, there’s never a dull moment with Steph on the growl PR team. She does so much for this organization, and I’m so lucky to be a part of it,” Jordan Rappaport said.

“Stephanie has been the greatest director for the PR team this year. She’s always on top of her game and makes sure we all are helping out. I wouldn’t want anyone else as my director,” said Logan Hyder.

Steph and Maddie have demonstrated their passion for Growl by motivating and fostering their assistant directors’ talent. Their AD’s spoke about how much they have grown these past few weeks and how excited they are to continue to work with their respective teams.

Thank you for your continued dedication to making sure this is the best Growl yet!
