Here at the University of Florida, we are excited to present the largest student-run parade in the nation! The UF homecoming parade showcases many of the student organizations and sponsors that make homecoming week so special for all ages. This Gainesville tradition is a staple within the community. Whether they are watching alongside the lawns of 13th St & University Avenue or watching via television, tens of thousands of people watch the parade each year! This year, the parade will start at 12pm. Don’t miss it!

The entire Gainesville and UF community is welcome to attend this year’s Homecoming Parade, which is beginning at 13th Street and Museum Road. It will travel North and turn at University Avenue, where it will process until reaching Bo Diddley Plaza on Main Street. To prioritize the safety of our Gators, the parade route has been adapted to accommodate the speed tables on University Avenue. For more information contact parade@ufhomecoming.org.

Attention

It is the responsibility of parents/guardians to ensure that all minors are escorted and/or accompanied by an appropriate adult at all times for all Homecoming activities, including participation in Parade, Gator Gallop and Festival events.
