Timeline:

5:45 PM: Check ins begin

6:35 PM: Speech by Meb Keflezighi

7:00 PM: Race begins!

WHY:

Supporting Sleep in Heavenly Peace (SHP) - Gainesville Chapter

Sleep in Heavenly Peace is a national charity that builds and delivers beds to children without one. Hundreds of children in Gainesville are in need of a bed, and this organization aims to have “No child sleep on the floor in our town!”

Our goal is to raise $5,000!

A large portion of registration/sponsorship proceeds and all donations will go to the student-led, Gainesville chapter of Sleep in Heavenly Peace.

WHO:

Olympic Marathon Silver Medalist, Boston AND New York City Marathon Winner Meb Keflezighi will be sharing his story and presenting the medals to the top three runners in the male and female category!
